Refunds, cancellations, and deposits
This policy applies to paid employment consulting engagements with DevPlatform Lab — including application coaching packages, assessments, interview sessions, accommodation planning, and workplace inclusion briefings. It does not cover products we do not sell.
Eligibility for a full refund
If you cancel in writing more than seven (7) days before the first scheduled session and no substantial preparatory work has begun, we refund fees paid minus any non-refundable deposit stated in your confirmation.
Partial refunds
If work has started — for example CV drafts delivered or briefing slides prepared — we refund the unused portion of prepaid fees after deducting time already spent at the rates in your estimate. Completed sessions are non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
- Completed coaching or briefing sessions
- Custom materials already delivered to you
- Deposits marked non-refundable in the engagement confirmation (typically up to 30% for package bookings)
Timeframe to request a refund
Send refund requests within fourteen (14) days of the cancellation or disputed charge to hello@devplatformlab.digital.
Process and method
We confirm the eligible amount in writing, then return funds via the original payment method where possible. Processing typically takes five to ten business days after approval, depending on your bank.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a session once without fee if you give at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice. Later changes may count as a used session. Employer briefings reserved with venue or travel costs may carry a separate cancellation fee disclosed in the estimate.
No-shows
If you miss a scheduled session without notice, that session is charged and not refunded. We will offer one courtesy reschedule for documented emergencies at our discretion.
Work already started
Document drafting and preparation time begun after your written go-ahead is billable even if you later pause the engagement.
